Grounded

Identity, naming, illustrations. Co-design of shapes.

Grounded is a Uruguayan longboard (skateboarding) brand which promotes the use of national reforested wood. It is committed to ecology, to quality design, and to attention to detail combining handmade and industrial processes.

We designed the brand from the very beginning: the name, the logo, and all the components of the system. We were also in charge of illustrations and we co-designed each shape. The logo expresses the natural origin of the materials. Although each board has a different profile, they all share the same spirit which is reinforced by using screenprinting and ecological inks for limited editions of 100 boards.
